The CBI on Sunday registered a case against Chandigarh-based company Kudos Chemie and three of its Directors for allegedly cheating the Punjab National Bank (PNB) of over ₹1,300 crore. This comes after PNB lodged a complaint accusing the chemical manufacturing company of using false and fabricated documents to avail the bank's credit facilities and siphoning off the funds.
